So what we will be covering is remuxing which means changing the container from MKV to VOB/MP4/MPG/M2TS/AVI without losing any quality on the video/audio. I'm not going to cover TVersity's on-the-fly transcoding as it is not recommended to use it, and to be honest a waste of your time/your HD content quality. The PS3 has support for lots of video/audio codecs, but it is picky with containers - Throw all your Divx/Xvid content at it and it will play them natively, but sneak an MKV in it's direction and it will make you cry.
